BROKER DISCLOSURE

Last updated: October 2026

CN Motorcars LLC operates as a motor vehicle broker. We are not a motor vehicle dealer, and this page explains what that distinction means for you as a client.

What a Broker Is, Under Florida Law

Florida Statute § 320.27(1)(d) defines a "motor vehicle broker" as a person engaged in the business of offering to procure, or procuring, motor vehicles for the general public — including through solicitation or advertising — who does not store, display, or take ownership of any vehicle for the purpose of selling it.

CN Motorcars LLC operates exclusively within that definition. We do not buy, stock, display, or take title to vehicles for resale. We do not operate a dealership, sales lot, or showroom, and we do not purchase through dealer auctions or receive dealer incentives.

What We Actually Do

Our role is to locate, evaluate, and negotiate vehicles on behalf of our clients. Once a vehicle is identified, the purchase and transfer of title take place directly between the buyer and the seller — or through a separately licensed dealer, escrow service, or title company where the transaction calls for one.

Vehicles marked "In Acquisition" on this website describe vehicles CN Motorcars is actively seeking or negotiating on behalf of a client. They are not an offer for sale of a vehicle owned by a third party. If one is of interest, inquire directly — acquisition status can change quickly.

Licensing

Under Florida law, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) does not license or regulate businesses that meet the statutory definition of a "motor vehicle broker." Because CN Motorcars LLC's activity is limited to brokering as described above, no motor vehicle dealer or broker license is required for the services we provide.
